World Heritage Site

For our world heritage project, I was assigned Kathmandu. The city is seeped in culture, so I had many different sources and inspirations I could pull from. My main branding decision was the use of 3 colors. These colors were pulled from Tibetan prayer flags, an incredibly important religious item found all over Kathmandu. Kathmandu is a very welcoming and open city, it isn’t intimidating at all. To reflect this, I chose to give every square or rectangular shape a rounded edge, this also ties into the typefaces chosen, as they give off a similar effect.
